Property Development Commitee
The PDC is interested in working with property owners planning to build a home in La Misión, or who are planning a renovation that would change the footprint or height of an existing home. Unlike what a homeowner’s association might regulate in the U.S., LMPOA’s covenants are simple. There are also requirements to obtain a building license in Desarrollo Urbano. Control Urbano looks for LMPOA’s approval when building plans are submitted to them for approval.
The PDC is available to advise you in applying these covenants to your property. Early consultation with the PDC may avoid delays or misunderstandings that could be costly to your project in both time and money.
If you are planning to build, La Misión Water Company requires that property owners/builders must 1) work with the PDC before construction begins, and 2) must become members of LMPOA in order to qualify for water service when your home is finished. To contact the water company, use our contact form.
